Lakehouse Outdoor Living

Species: Poplar (ThermA Siding™ & ThermA Soffit)

Location: Kentucky

To achieve a lighter, more natural aesthetic, the homeowners selected poplar with its full range of tones, allowing the variation in color and grain to add depth and visual texture alongside the surrounding stone and exposed timber framing.

Specified with a nickel gap profile and factory-oiled finish, the ThermA Poplar brings a sleek, modern warmth to every surface it touches. The seamless transition from exterior wall to porch ceiling draws the eye upward and unifies the space, pairing beautifully with the natural stone
columns and open sight lines to the lake beyond.

Built for high-exposure environments, ThermA Poplar resists humidity, moisture, and decay—with no warping, cupping, or chemical treatments. Each board is thermally modified using only heat and steam, delivering the warmth of natural wood with the performance demanded by lakeside living.
